If there's a widespread outage confirmed, Quicken generally posts an announcement you could see at the top of the home page - but it sometimes takes a number of hours or until the next day before Quicken gets a handle on what the problem is. ![]() sort of like restarting a computer when something isn't working, or taking two aspirin and calling the doctor in the morning! Very often, these problems get resolved and go back to working normally if you can just wait a day or two. How long have you been experiencing the problem? The first troubleshooting tip is generally to wait a day or two and try again. Sometimes they make changes that affect Quicken without notifying Quicken in advance. Sometimes financial institutions have internal issues and simply block external access temporarily. That doesn't mean that things don't go wrong. Yes, Capital One is definitely supported. I hope this information is helpful, thank you. In the meantime, I recommend connecting Capital One accounts to download through the Quicken Connect connection method. Unfortunately at this time, we are still waiting for confirmation and I do not have an ETA for when confirmation will be received, however once confirmation is received I'll be back to share. We have opened an inquiry with Capital One to determine whether Web Connect import is supported in Quicken for Mac or only the Quicken Connect method. What's happening is, when the Web Connect file is imported, Quicken checks the Financial institution data in the file against that Master List and sees that Web Connect is not listed as a supported connection method and blocks the import with the CC-885 error code and message. In the Master List for Quicken for Mac, Capital One is listed as only supporting Quicken Connect. ![]() This list contains every supported Financial Institution and states what account types and connection methods they will support. The root of this issue lies with our Master List of Financial Institutions. ![]() We have been investigating reports of Users receiving a CC-885 error in Quicken for Mac when importing a Web Connect file from Capital One and have been investigating these reports further.
